The Flipped Classroom

A flipped classroom is a type of blended learning where students are introduced to content at home and practice working through it at school. This is the reverse of the more common practice of introducing new content at school, then assigning homework and projects to be completed by the students independently at home.

1on1 Classrooms is the NEW Learning Management System being explored by the Ministry of Education. Powered by BTC, this platform supports the Bahamian Curriculum and provides a virtual learning space for teachers and students. Bahamas.1on1 provides opportunities to host live classes and distribute content and assessment activities with students. Additionally, it provides a parent portal allowing parents to keep track of their child's progress.
